Reduce your power bills and carbon pollution

When you are running a small business you have to be able to do a little bit of everything - from managing money and people, safety and promoting your products and services.

All of these competing demands can make it hard to manage any changes you would like to make - like reducing your environmental impact and identifying cost savings from actions like energy efficiency.

The good news is, there is plenty of information available to help you start saving money on your power bill and reduce your impact on the environment.

Join a business program

If your business spends around $20,000 a year on electricity or employs up to about 10 people, you may be eligible for the Energy Efficiency for Small Business Program.

The Program provides personalised energy assessments, tailored Energy Action Plans and a subsidy of up to $5,000, to pay for 50 per cent of the cost of installing energy efficiency improvements, that will help your business save money, cut power bills and reduce carbon pollution.

If you are a larger business, you may qualify for the Sustainability Advantage Program.
